The Team Meeting

At least a fortnight should elapse between notice being given and the actual meeting.

The precise details are best given in writing, as an aid to memory and should include, the subject or main topic, the venue and if necessary good directions as to the best way to travel and find the situation, as well as the exact date and time of the gathering.

Where a series of Team meetings are to take place, a reminder, is an aid to memory as before. Once again a fortnight is a useful period of time for this to happen.

In addition, some consideration should also be given to the time the meeting will end, so that people can plan ahead.

Planning ahead means that people know what procedure to follow if they are incapacitated or unavoidably delayed. Conversely, a procedure needs to be considered if a meeting is cancelled, for whatever reason.
